• Up to 145 km/h: There is no penalty for speeds within this range on roads with a higher speed limit.

• 150 km/h to 160 km/h: The penalty for this speed range is set between SAR 800 and SAR 1,000.
• 160 km/h to 170 km/h: Drivers exceeding the speed limit by this margin will face fines from SAR 1,200 to SAR 1,500.
• Exceeding 170 km/h: Similar to the lower speed limit roads, speeds exceeding 170 km/h on these roads also attract fines between SAR 1,500 and SAR 2,000.
